Zipper Fin Heatsinks
Zipper fin heatsinks provide high efficiency cooling in forced convection systems. The fins are made from either copper or aluminium and are individually stamped before being combined to form the fin stack. This construction allows very high fin densities to be produced while also being lightweight. Zipper fins are frequently utilised in CPU coolers and are typically combined with heat pipes.
