Prototyping and Testing

Once the design process has been completed, physical samples are produced for testing. In general design cycles are compressed and prototypes are required as quickly as possible meaning rapid production techniques are required. Bluecore utilise the following;

  • Rapid tooling production (die cast & extrusion)
  • Dedicated engineers for rapid prototype assembly
  • Finishing

Once prototypes have been produced, our design team continues with thermal and mechanical validation. We have various techniques available to us in order to approve a product including;

  • CMM and precision measuring tools for dimensional analysis
  • Thermal measurement devices and cameras
  • Thermal chambers for shock testing and cycling
  • Salt spray testing for corrosion analysis
