Liquid Cold Plates

Primarily utilised where air-cooled solutions are no longer viable, liquid cold plates are the simplest form of liquid cooling.  The cold plate utilises a copper or aluminium tube mechanically fixed to an aluminium carrier plate.  The tube routing passes under the heat producing components, with the cooling liquid flowing through it.

Typically these cold plates are custom designed for each application, with the mounting points and tube routing set by the location of the components.  The tube can be located at the surface for direct contact with the hot components or embedded into the carrier plate if hot components will be mounted on both sides.  Bluecore have a wealth of experience designing these cold plates so please speak to one of our engineers for advice on your application.
